State Sausage King and Best Butchers Burger Competition Final
The NSW State Final of these prestigious events will be taking place on Saturday, 23 September at Tamworth Growers' Market. The public are invited to witness the state’s foremost sausage and burger cook-off that will determine the NSW Sausage and Best Butchers Burger Kings amongst the state’s 1,300 Independent Local Butchers.
The Competition is the culmination of the Regional Competitions that have taken place through May to August at nine of the NSW TAFE Colleges. Regional winners will be competing for the coveted state crowns and lucky onlookers will get to taste the delicious sausages and burgers up for judging.
State winners will then earn the right to compete in the National Final for the ultimate National Crowns. The Competition is staged annually by AMIC - the peak Council representing retailers, processors, exporters and smallgoods manufacturers in the post-farm- gate meat industry.
